Taupo AFC was established in 1956 as Taupo Football Club. Our home is Crown Park, Taupo in the centre of the North Island of New Zealand.

We are an incredibly successful club for a town our size. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming family club, winners on the field, founders of New Zealand’s largest junior tournament and hosts to many top football fixtures.

Taupo AFC runs the McCartney Invitational Tournament , New Zealand’s largest Junior Tournament, in October each year.

We currently have 3 Senior Men’s Teams, 1 Senior Women’s team, 1 Grade 13 Youth Team and 1 Grade 12 Junior Team playing in WaiBOP Competitions through the Waikato and Bay of Plenty. We also run an in-house Junior and Youth Competition on Saturday mornings during winter, with 400+ Juniors from 4 years old.
